Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Zunzo ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Zunzo. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Marketplace Role
Zunzo acts only as a facilitator connecting customers with independent service professionals ("Taskers"). Zunzo does not employ Taskers and is not responsible for the performance, quality, or safety of any tasks. Taskers are independent contractors who provide services under their own business entities.
3. Bookings & Cancellations
A booking is a contract between the Customer and the Tasker. Customers may cancel bookings subject to the cancellation policy stated at the time of booking. Taskers are expected to fulfill all accepted bookings; repeated cancellations may result in removal from the platform.
4. Payments & Fees
All payments for services booked through Zunzo must be processed through the platform's integrated payment systems (e.g., EcoCash). Zunzo charges a service fee for facilitating these transactions. Bypassing the platform's payment system is a violation of these terms.
5. Tasker Conduct & Standards
Taskers must provide high-quality service, maintain professional conduct, and adhere to all local laws and regulations. Taskers are responsible for maintaining any licenses or certifications required for their specific trade.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a Customer and a Tasker, users are encouraged to resolve the issue amicably. Zunzo may, at its discretion, provide mediation services but is not legally obligated to resolve disputes or provide refunds for service performance.
7. Governing Law
These terms and any disputes arising out of the use of Zunzo are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any legal action shall be brought in the courts located in Harare.
